TLDR; My first degree was inspired because the internet was the brand new big deal when I was growing up. And my second education was inspired because I joined Peace Corps and for 2 years I volunteered in the Caribbean which turned into 4 more years of coordinating development projects there, where by then all my travels had made me see everything differently. In all these experiences information and industrial technology played a key role.
I now leverage those experiences and skills to support my clients' technical communication strategies. Freelance writing has been a fantastic and thankful opportunity. Its provided flexibility and stability in outlandish times (read bad bad COVID). And has given me a channel too see new ideas from the work of my clients, which have fascinatingly enough also shed light on how the world is changing but through a technologically focused lens.
